Summary

The University of Waterloo is seeking a Groundsperson for a temporary, full-time, 4-month contract opportunity. This role involves performing landscape maintenance duties to ensure the campus environment is safe, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing. Key responsibilities include snow and ice control during winter, and grass cutting, flower bed preparation, weeding, light pruning, and assisting with landscaping installations during warmer months. The position also involves year-round waste and litter collection, and the safe operation of various grounds maintenance equipment. The Groundsperson will adhere to health and safety regulations and departmental procedures. A valid G license and a minimum of one year of recent commercial landscaping experience are required.
