Applications Support Analyst

Summary

The Waterloo Regional Police Service is seeking an Applications Support Analyst to join their Development team. This permanent, full-time position involves assisting in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of systems and project solutions for the Emergency Services Cooperative Ontario (ESCO) group. The role requires collecting, analyzing, and troubleshooting issues related to business applications, communicating with technical representatives of various agencies, and managing data, system administration, software releases, and version upgrades within the ESCO public safety application environment. Responsibilities also include coordinating system development and implementation, analyzing user requirements, managing deployment and testing, preparing system prototypes, contributing to project planning, and providing leadership to database design and project teams. The analyst will also create and maintain system documentation, deliver training, and liaise with vendors and other agencies. A valid Class “G” Ontario Driver’s License is required for travel.
