Personal Support Worker
Summary
Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN) is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Personal Support Worker for their MEDICINE department at the WRHN @ Queen’s Blvd location in Kitchener, ON. This role involves providing personal care to patients, supporting patient flow, and assisting with daily living activities and vital signs. The Personal Support Worker will communicate effectively with patients, staff, and families, document care in the electronic record, and work collaboratively with registered staff. The position requires a Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate, current BCLS certification, and 2-3 years of experience as a PSW. Experience in a hospital environment and with the Meditech system is preferred, along with proficiency in computer use and excellent keyboarding skills. The role also requires knowledge of Infection Control practices and the ability to work in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team environment.
