Summary
Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS) is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) for their Emergency Department. This role involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced, changing environment. The successful applicant will report to the Clinical Manager of Emergency Services. Key requirements include a current certificate of registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, at least two years of acute care experience within the last five years, a current B.C.L.S. Certificate, and Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation Certification (or willingness to obtain it within six months). Preferred qualifications include a current PEARS Certificate. The position also requires strong patient assessment, conflict resolution, communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and time management skills, along with the ability to perform venipuncture and ECGs.
