Summary
The Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB) is seeking a temporary full-time/part-time Educational Assistant for Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute. This role involves supporting students with diverse behavioral, safety, medical, and physical needs, including lifting, toileting, and transferring. The Educational Assistant will work individually or in groups with students, collaborating with teachers, parents, and administration. A valid Behaviour Management Systems certification is required, and preference will be given to candidates with an Educational Assistant Diploma or equivalent education and experience, along with Autism Spectrum Disorder Training and Lifting/Positioning Training. Proven experience with students with special needs and behavioral disabilities is strongly preferred.
