Adult Services Librarian

Summary

Cambridge Public Library is seeking an Adult Services Librarian for its Southeast Galt location. This full-time, permanent position involves providing advanced reference and reader's advisory services, assisting with collection management, and developing and coordinating community outreach programs and engagement activities specifically for adults. The role also includes responsibilities such as program/service delivery, collection development, purchasing and monitoring budgets, creating promotional content, instructing members on technology use, and managing projects. The librarian will also assist with staff hiring and training, and may act as Person in Charge, monitor building security, and cover service desks as needed.
