Summary
The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Laboratory Support I for their Core Lab. This role involves collecting blood samples, maintaining laboratory equipment, and providing support services under the direction of a supervisor. The position requires a Medical Laboratory Assistant/Technician Certification from an accredited program and successful completion of the CSMLS MLA examination. Key skills include excellent communication, initiative, teamwork, organization, prioritization, computer literacy, and familiarity with phlebotomy techniques and lab analyzers. Previous hospital laboratory experience and current registration with the Medical Laboratory Professionals’ Association of Ontario are preferred. The role is based in Clinton and Seaforth, Ontario, with a salary range of $35.40-$37.56 per hour.
