Aquatic Assistant

Summary

The City of Waterloo is seeking a Part-Time Casual Aquatic Assistant to support and/or participate in the delivery of aquatic programs and special events at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex. This role involves ensuring compliance with health regulations, providing excellent customer service, assisting with waterslide and pool operations, and maintaining a safe and clean pool area. The position requires current certifications in Bronze Cross or National Lifeguard, Assistant Instructors, and Standard First Aid & CPR C. The role offers up to 24 hours per week, with shifts including evenings and weekends, and eligibility for a Defined Benefit Pension Plan (OMERS).
