Summary

The Region of Waterloo is seeking a Maintenance HVAC (Facilities) professional to join their Facilities Operations team. This full-time position involves performing corrective, demand, and preventive maintenance on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across various Region of Waterloo Housing sites and corporate buildings. The role requires ensuring a safe and reliable workplace through hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades of mechanical operating equipment. The successful candidate will also participate in developing and implementing a comprehensive preventive maintenance program, work with contractors on installations and warranty work, and collaborate with other staff on various building maintenance tasks. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $45.11 and is part of the CUPE 1656 union. The role requires on-call rotation and a valid driver's license.
