Summary

The Listowel Wingham Hospitals Alliance is seeking a Casual Pharmacy Technician for their Wingham site. This role involves entering, dispensing, and compounding prescription medicines for inpatients and some outpatients. Responsibilities include managing drug inventory, ensuring compliance with the Narcotic & Controlled Act, and accurately dispensing medications. The position requires a Pharmacy Technician diploma with certification, registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacy, and 3 to 6 months of related experience. The role involves moderate physical effort and a high degree of mental effort and analysis. Work hours are Monday to Friday, with the ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
