Medical Laboratory Technologist - Microbiology

Summary

Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist for its Microbiology department at the Stratford General Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing both routine and advanced test procedures to ensure the efficient functioning of their assigned area within the laboratory. Applicants must be graduates of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology program and be currently registered or eligible for registration with the CMLTO in the disciplines of Blood Bank, Hematology, and Biochemistry. A minimum of two years of current technical experience in microbiology is required. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the Meditech Information System, demonstrate initiative in problem-solving, and be mature, flexible, and organized.
