Summary

The City of Guelph is seeking a Supervisor, Enterprise Data Services to manage the corporate IT data team and provide strategic and technical oversight for the City’s enterprise data and AI foundation. This leadership role involves co-chairing the Data Governance Steering Committee to implement the corporate data governance framework and deliver enterprise knowledge structures for staff and AI tools. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and over 10 years of progressive experience in managing enterprise data ecosystems, corporate data architecture, and modern cloud data platforms. The successful candidate will lead a team of Data and AI Engineers, an Integration Specialist, and a Database Administrator, fostering professional growth and technical excellence. Key responsibilities include defining and enforcing enterprise data policies, governing the corporate data architecture, leading the implementation of an Enterprise Data Catalog, and overseeing the enterprise integration strategy using platforms like Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC). The role also involves providing strategic leadership for the City's data ecosystem, optimizing data lifecycle initiatives, and directing the Open Data program. This is a permanent, full-time, hybrid position located at City Hall, with a salary range of $108,726.80 - $135,908.50 annually.
