Summary

The Waterloo Catholic District School Board is seeking Supply Custodians to fill in for absent permanent custodians. This on-call position offers approximately 10 to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with potential travel to multiple locations within Waterloo Region. While typically on-call, all current supply custodians are consistently working 40 hours weekly. This role serves as the primary pathway to a full-time career within the Board, with past supply custodians averaging less than 14 months to secure a permanent position if expectations are met. Responsibilities include general housekeeping duties such as dusting, mopping, floor care, garbage removal, and snow clearing, as well as maintaining building cleanliness, assisting with event setups, and following cleaning schedules and safety procedures. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.
