Summary
Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN) is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse for their Emergency Department in Kitchener, ON. This role involves providing complex, intensive, and continuous patient care to individuals experiencing life-threatening health crises. The nurse will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, utilizing advanced knowledge, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in a demanding environment. Key responsibilities include patient assessment, monitoring, intervention, collaboration with the healthcare team, patient and family education, accurate documentation, and medication administration. The position requires a BScN or equivalent, registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, a minimum of two years of recent emergency department experience, and current BCLS certification. Additional certifications and skills in advanced clinical assessment, critical thinking, and technological medical devices are also necessary.
